CEAN Requests Survey on Real Estate Layouts in the Nilgiris
The Confederation of Environment Association of Nilgiris (CEAN) has requested a survey on real estate layouts in the Nilgiris, citing widespread violations of the Tamil Nadu Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TNRERA) Act. According to CEAN chairperson Surjit K Chaudhary, many real estate projects in the district are being developed without proper approvals, leading to concerns over illegal land use and environmental impact.
